Gnomes and mushrooms clay sculpture
This is very much a sculptural kind of project. I will provide earthen ware clay along with tools and instructions for you to create either a mushroom or a gnome.

About the event
This is very much a sculptural kind of project. I will provide earthen ware clay along with tools and instructions for you to create either a mushroom or a gnome. Depending on how much detail and care you give your project, you could even create one of each...or several mushrooms or a gnome family. It is entirely up to you.
I will then take your projects home to dry...and then fire. This will take about 2 weeks. Everything has to be bone dry or they could break in the firing. The finished result will be bisque pottery ready for glaze or paint.
$25/ person for this 2hr. class.
You can then opt to come back for a glazing class to paint your project, which I will then fire a second time producing a hard, glossy finish. The other option would be to paint your project with acrylic paints. The foll…
